6) The Glue War

I AM A SIMPLE BITCH. I use PVA for everything (:< maybe one day I'll get fancy and try mixing up some wheat paste or methyl cellulose, but PVA is just so simple and easy for me to get my hands on year round, since we have Blick stores out here who can carry it year round (it's not gonna freeze, ever)

I use s600, I think that's PVA. It's so easy to use.
I spend the first 6 months trying to understand what wheat paste was , only to realize it was the old good "engrudo" from my childhood. My mum use to make it for me when I was a little one.

Haha oh wow! That's so funny. Have you experimented at all with methyl cellulose? I've heard people rave about it.

No, never tried it. It's not easy to find binding stuff in my city.

I used some that Six gifted me at Havencon! It was honestly SO cool-- I did about 50/50 with PVA for my first try at a German Bradel binding and it was like the sky opened up with how much time I had to readjust things. Although for case binding and other bindings I'm more familiar with I think I'd still prefer PVA! I get impatient XD
